what is it about the fall months, or nine months previous to the fall months? so many days on which each of us thinks we should indulge ourselves. and we do. with drinks, and cigarettes, and all manner of death-enhancing substances. but we gather people around us to make it feel a little less like one step further down the road. and it works. last week it was alex. this week it's rosa. and next week? and next week?
